ABOUT US
We provide treatment based on the principles of applied behavior analysis, such as reinforcement, motivation, data-based decision making, and methods of teaching such as shaping, fading, and differential reinforcement. We will work with you to decrease undesired behaviors and increase desired behaviors. We offer support, education, and training to the whole family to help create a positive home environment.
By collaborating with other professionals working with the family, such as teachers, speech therapists, or occupational therapists we are able to provide a more successful therapeutic program for your child. We develop cooperative relationships with daycares and pre-schools. All treatments are individualized to your child and needs.
Our goal is to have both families and their children grow and benefit from our services, to lead to a happier, more peaceful home environment.
EXPERIENCE
Kris is the Founder and President of Family First Behavior. Kris has a Master of Arts in Counselor Education from the University of Central Florida and is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. She has 20 years of success applying behavior training principles. Kris is also the proud mother of two.
Kris has extensive experience in teaching language development, social skills, and desensitization to activities such as haircuts and dental work. She also has worked for several years teaching educators and parents techniques to decrease problem behavior at home, school and in the community.
